Is FlashCredit Africa licensed to offer loans digitally?

Yes, FlashCredit Africa is licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya as a digital credit provider.

Who qualifies for a loan from FlashCredit Africa?

We offer salary advance loans to employed Kenyan residents aged 18 years and above who:

  • Possess a bank account and/or active mobile money
  • Agree to FlashCredit Africa's terms of service and privacy policy.
  • Does FlashCredit Africa charge any upfront registration fees or other fees?

    FlashCredit Africa does not charge upfront fees, registration fees or other hidden fees

    Why do I need to submit a cheque book?

    The cheque book acts as security for the loan, it is a guarantee of payment.

    What if I do not have a cheque book?

    If you do not have a cheque book, you will need to provide two colleague guarantors.

    What is the interest rate and loan tenure?

    Our loans accrue a 20% interest, repayable after one month.

    What are the loan limits?

    We offer up to 30% of your base salary, with a lower limit of KES 10,000 and an upper limit of KES 150,000. First time applicants have an upper limit of KES 40,000. Your loan limit will be determined by the documents you provide.

    How long does it take to get a loan?

    Once you submit all the required documents, your loan will be disbursed within 30 minutes.

    Will my profile or personal details be exposed or shared with other parties?

    FlashCredit Africa does not share your information with third parties unless required by law or for the purposes of debt collection.

    What documents do I need to apply for a loan?

    You will need to have these documents:

  • A passport-size photo
  • A copy of your national ID
  • Last 3 months payslips
  • Last 3 months bank statements
  • Last 6 months M-PESA Statements
  • Cheque book
  • Can my application be rejected? Why?

    Your application may be rejected for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Failure to submit any of the required documents
  • If the applicant provides fraudulent or unverifiable information
  • If the applicant decides to cancel their application
  • At what stage can I cancel my application?

    You may cancel your credit application any time before the credit is approved by sending an email to applications@flashcreditafrica.com or calling +254 713 948 254

    How do I maintain or improve my credit limit?

    By making your payments on time and in full.

    How do I repay my loan?

    You can repay the loan using our paybill - 4051255. Use your ID number as the account number.

    What if my payment is delayed for unavoidable reasons?

    FlashCredit Africa works closely with clients experiencing delays or difficulties, so as to reschedule the loan or collect the amount owed. Collection charges along with late payment penalties and interest will apply.
